We were really disappointed with our experience at Boozehounds last night. The service was poor, slow and unenthusiastic. The food was subpar. Nothing was above a 4 or 5. The only highlight was the dog menu. Our dog loved it. We won’t be back nor will we recommend to anyone.
This was a brunch disaster. I was served the worst tasting eggs Benedict that I have ever had. I could take only two bites of it. I wanted to get the waiter to send it back for something else, but he had completely disappeared. I even got up and walked around the room to see if I could locate him, but nowhere to be found. My partner's "eggs over medium" was like a scramble egg pancake. Not good. We sat there a while longer and just decided to leave. The day of our reservation (8/5) Boozehounds was closed. Both the Boozehounds website and Opentable (how we made our reservation) showed it open.
unfortunately 3of is ordered the adobo, have ordered it many times in the past, but we left most of it because it was exceptionally salty and inedible.
Marty .. you need to clarify with the table when you’re sending over a round of shots that you’ll be charging the table for them. Also .. extremely inappropriate to add yours to our bill also. If Marty offers you the nipple shot .. beware. We were a table of 6 and 7 shots to the tune of $90 was unexpectedly added to our bill. We would have happily taken the shots regardless of if we would be charged … you just did this in an extremely sneaky way. And you did it to 4 other tables while we were there. Do better…. Some of the worst service sadly. The restaurant really was not very busy. Would not go back.

Although we were there during memorial weekend, the restaurant did not look very packed. I assumed they may be short staffed because our service was horrible. The waiter missed one of our items, the appetizer of truffle fries took 45 minutes to get from when we sat down, the menu selection was not that great and, again, the waiter miss the one item we came there to eat.
