I don’t often leave reviews but I am hoping this one lands properly. We were recommended Boozehounds by our concierge and we were really excited to check it out. The service was really disappointing and eleven when our starters took 35 mins, the service didn’t improve. They didn’t check on our meals and I finally flagged a hostess after waiting 20 mins for our cheque. Food is good. Service was terrible.
We typically love Boozehounds and so does our pup. So much that the staff brought a second Pup Meal and immediately put it down in front of him. I quickly said we didn’t order this. They left it- (because who takes food from a dog). And we got charged for both. And tipped for both. Lesson learned - stay alert and speak up!
After arriving on time at 8pm and being seated, we left after 20 minutes because not one single server ever noticed we were there. No one ever approached our table. We mentioned it to the host at the door but they were too busy to help us out.
I was so excited to go to Boozehounds with friends who highly recommended the place-only to be both dissapointed and embarrassed by the waitress' behavior. My husband and I were taking our friends and their dog out for a special dinner while visiting us in Palm Springs. Our friend expressed some food restrictions to our waitress who was rude and unaccommodating. Service was horrible and no offered an explanation why the server suddenly disappeared or why our food took 1.5 hours
Food was truly horrific! Server was overworked and harried. Smell in the place was beyond terrible…and I have three dogs so doggie stink doesn’t bother me but this place smelled awful. And the bill for this disgusting food and stink was outrageous! Do not recommend and will definitely not return!
I booked a table here thought it’s gonna be a nice dog experience. But it was a disappointing! This is supposed to be a “dog friendly place “ but wait it’s a catch . When you come with your dog , you can’t dine with your dog in the main dining room. They will have to put you in the patio area which is a little depressing , it’s definitely not the same vibe . Terrible service. Food took forever and the waiter kept messed up my coffee order and said he would bring another but had to follow up twice and then he asked me what I had ordered. Haven’t seen such horrendous service.
Had to wait in line even though we had reservations. There’s only on server for 10 tables. The table was tiny. Matcha green tea was literally just green milk. Wait for food took forever.
