Great place for relaxing and meeting new friends. The food is excellent. The service fantastic. I will say I have had several items on the menu and all of them have been some of the best tasting dishes I have had. Go and try them out. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

My grandparents bought a condo in Sundial Condominium in 1994, and we have been visiting as a second home ever since. Now that my parents own a condo there in their retirement, we were so excited to hear a place was opening near by. And let me tell you Play has exceeded all of our expectations. So welcoming, colorful, and fun! They ask your name and treat you like family. Plus, the food is actually REALLY GOOD (read: biscuits). And homemade biscotti? My favorite dining companion and I stopped in with our faithful canine companion for some midafternoon cocktails and a late lunch bite. We ordered a beer and a Froze' ( a rose blended with agave, ice, and fruit). We also had the club sandwich and a biscuit. Get the biscuit! Drive out of your way to get these huge biscuits served with butter and jam (or honey). The club sandwich was a generous portion that my dining companion and I were able to split. Service was horrible. Nobody seems trained. Guy at the register asked three times what I wanted. In the end got it wrong. 20 minute wait. Biscuit with egg and sausage and the biscuit completely crumbles. Tater tots not crispy. Mandarin cardamom drink you cannot taste any cardamom. Meh. Probably would not return.
The photos and reviews looked great here and I was excited when I saw Cinnamon Play Biscuit as an option but when I got it, It didn't have cinnamon on it and I know it's a biscuit but that thing was tiny and kinda stale. Coffee was not good and the sandwich was not fresh. I feel bad because it's a LGBT spot and I went to support it too but I wouldn't go back and don't recommend it. It was dead and service was meh. I saw other spots around that looked way better.
Aside from the beautiful weather we had tonight in Palm springs I was taken back by the horrible show the Social would actually promote. Not only did the strip show start late but the service had a lot to be desired ... The drinks which took forever to get were terrible and the show was by far the worst I've seen in a long time. The STAR of the show wasted so much time taking about himself that was an instant turn off. Being as vulger as he was didnt make the show better. It actually made it worse.
