What a unique coffee shop! ☕️We are visiting from Toronto and were so pleasantly surprised with all the Filipino featured items on the menu! Met the owner Vince and he is so friendly and answered a few of my questions about the place! The inside is very modern, cozy and chic! Great space and really polite staff. I just cannot justify a $9 latte that tastes the way it did. Also the server was really enthusiastic about informing us that the pastries were made in house. They were so bad. ☹️ they look so undercooked and when we bit into them it felt like a sponge that we could barely bite into. I’m a bit biased, I travel a lot and just got back from Paris. I highly recommend the pastry team travel to LA or New York and Vegas and try a real croissant made with care and love and is authentic. 😩
Varraco Coffee Roasters shop is truly special! Not only is the coffee excellent, but having a roaster right in the building makes every cup taste fresh and unique. The aroma alone is worth the visit! The customer service is always amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they care about their customers and their craft. First and last visit. Asked if they could make a sugar-free chai latte. The barista confidently said yes, but the syrup label showed 20g of sugar per serving. When I calmly pointed it out, she replied with sarcasm: “Well, I guess your chai latte won’t be sugar-free then.” My friend overheard and was equally shocked by her attitude. Very nice coffee spot here! Coffee was very good, and the service was solid. Plenty of parking out front. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Not the coolest shopping block, but worth the stop just for the coffee! Pretty quick… They def have a strong following and vibe! It was jammed in there with folks eating, working, and picking up.
